I played basketball at UNC under Coach Dean Smith. I spent 27 years in finance — seven at Merrill Lynch, twenty running my own firm. I've hired people. I've been in the room when decisions get made.
Now I coach careers at UNC every single day. Over 1,000 students. I know exactly what employers are looking for because I used to be one of them.
Most career coaches have never held a real job outside of coaching. I built a career first. Then I started teaching other people how to do it.

We start with a free 30-minute call to figure out exactly where you are and what you need. From there we put together a plan — whether that's one session or a full engagement.

Depends on where you're starting. A resume rewrite typically takes 3-5 days with follow up meetings. A full engagement runs several weeks. We work together until you are satisfied. Most clients start seeing results — interviews, callbacks, responses — within the first two weeks.

Both. About half my clients are current UNC students and recent grads. The other half are mid-career professionals looking to make a move. The fundamentals are the same — you just need someone in your corner who knows what works.

Doesn't matter. I work with clients everywhere. All sessions are virtual so location is never an issue. My son went to Alabama and my daughter to Auburn. I work with everyone.
